About

An advisory practice built inside the implement trade, not above it.

EBIDTA Enterprises works with the small and unorganised manufacturers who build most of India's farm implements. We are not a management consultancy that discovered agriculture, and we are not a dealer with an opinion. We have spent our careers in this trade and we have kept the business narrow enough that our advice cannot be bought.

Business Head at Greaves Cotton in Pune, and before that Business Head of the Shaktiman–GRIMME Root Crop Solutions joint venture in Rajkot, which he took from concept to ₹25 crore of annual revenue in its second year. Earlier a Regional Business Head at TAFE, with roles at Escorts and New Holland before that. Today Director of Agrovent Technologies and Agpro Consulting. Where we work

We work pan-India, from two offices placed where the implements are made.

Our clients are in every state that builds or buys farm implements, and we travel to them. The offices sit in the clusters because the Indian implement trade is a cluster business — being in one is the difference between knowing a market and reading about it.

Chandigarh office

Ludhiana · Karnal · Jalandhar

The Punjab–Haryana implement belt. Rotavators, super seeders, happy seeders, straw management — the densest concentration of small implement makers in the country, and the most policy-exposed.

Pune office

Kolhapur · Rajkot

The western trade. Cane and horticulture mechanization, pneumatic planters, and Gujarat's fabrication base — a very different cost structure and a very different dealer culture from the north.

Covered from Pune

Coimbatore

The southern engineering cluster. Power tillers, sprayers and precision equipment, with more organised manufacturing practice than the northern belt and stronger export orientation.
