The machines

From tillage to harvest, with real depth in the categories that move most.

Tillage, seeding, crop care and harvest — including the self-propelled machines at the top of the range. Rotavators, super seeders, pneumatic planters and root-crop equipment are where we go deepest: how they are built, what they should cost to build, why they fail, and which states buy them hardest.

Tillage & seedbed

MachineWhat we know about itWhere it sells hardestCoverage
Rotavator / rotary tillerBlade schedules and steel grades, side- versus centre-drive, multi-speed gearboxes, and what actually breaks in black cotton soil.Pan-IndiaCORE
Power harrowWhere a vertical-tine seedbed beats a rotary one, and why the gearbox spec decides the service life.Horticulture & seed cropsCOVERED
MB plough · disc harrow · cultivatorThe base tillage set every small maker competes in, on price, at the thinnest margins in the trade.Pan-IndiaCOVERED
Sub-soilerBreaking the pan that ten years of puddling leaves at 15 cm — and knowing when it is not the problem.Rice–wheat beltCOVERED
Puddler (paddy special)Wet-field rotors, sealing the pan deliberately, and the corrosion problem nobody budgets for.Paddy statesCOVERED

Seeding & planting

MachineWhat we know about itWhere it sells hardestCoverage
Super seederHow a combination machine gets specified, the stubble window it must work in, and why the seeding side is where most builds fall down.Punjab · Haryana · West UPCORE
Pneumatic planterMetering units, plate selection, spacing accuracy at field speed, and where imported units still beat what is made locally.Maharashtra · Gujarat · TelanganaCORE
Potato planterCup and belt metering, seed-size grading, ridge geometry — root-crop planting at commercial spacing accuracy.UP · Punjab · West Bengal · GujaratCORE
Zero-till & happy seederTyne geometry and seed placement in loose residue — a category that lives or dies on state policy cycles.North & central beltCOVERED
Paddy transplanterMat-nursery dependence, walk-behind versus riding economics, and why transplanters fail on service rather than on design.Paddy statesCOVERED

Crop care

MachineWhat we know about itWhere it sells hardestCoverage
Sprayer — boom, HTP, self-propelledBoom stability, nozzle and pump selection, and the high-clearance self-propelled machines now replacing knapsacks at scale.Pan-IndiaCOVERED
Inter-row weeder / cultivatorRow-following accuracy in standing crop, where labour substitution actually pays back.Cotton · maize · caneCOVERED
Spreader & broadcasterSpread pattern consistency — the specification buyers never check and complain about all season.Pan-IndiaCOVERED
Mower · slasher · shredderResidue management and orchard floors; increasingly policy-driven as burning is squeezed.Cane · orchards · residue beltsCOVERED

Harvest & post-harvest

MachineWhat we know about itWhere it sells hardestCoverage
Combine harvester — paddy & wheatTrack versus wheel, threshing drum and sieve setup, and the service reach a high-ticket machine actually needs.Punjab · Haryana · MP · East IndiaCOVERED
Sugarcane harvesterThe highest-ticket machine in Indian agriculture, base-cutter and billet quality, and the mill contracts that make or break the economics.Maharashtra · UP · KarnatakaCOVERED
Potato harvester & diggerWeb and share design, bruise-free lifting, and matching the harvester to the planter that went before it.UP · Punjab · West BengalCORE
Cotton pickerA category India has barely started, where import substitution is the entire commercial question.Gujarat · Maharashtra · TelanganaCOVERED
Straw reaper · baler · rakeSquare and round baling, and the stubble economy that state policy keeps rewriting.Punjab · Haryana · MPCOVERED
Thresher · chaff cutter · trailerThe everyday volume lines that keep a small workshop's shed busy between seasons.Pan-IndiaCOVERED
How we choose what to cover

Four families, from soil preparation through to harvest.

The core categories are where our clients build, where the volume is, and where a small manufacturer has the best chance of competing — so that is where our depth is greatest. The rest of the range we cover too, because it shares a workshop, a dealer counter and a buyer with those categories.
